Hello hello! Another couple of as-normal-as-you-can-get-during-a-pandemic weeks have passed, and not too much has changed. I’m still writing a lot, but I’m also working on an online literature class, so that does cut into my writing time somewhat. Still, I should break 50,000 words by the end of the week, if not today. To celebrate progress, and because I don’t have much I can think to say today (it’s too hot for deep thought…why in the world does that rhyme?!?! *sigh* English), I’m giving you guys another excerpt from Agonizomai Series book 3! (It has a title, but I’m not sure if it’s the realRead More →

Hello hello! In my last post I promised some information on the book I’m writing now that Born in Darkness is out, and now I’m here to follow through! Before I tell you what it is, though, a bit of a funny story… I have started four books since finishing Born in Darkness. Yes, four. Only two have more than a few disjointed scenes. I think I’ve figured out which one is my main project for the next few months, but…yeah. It’s been interesting. All of that aside, what’s my next book? Book 3 of the Agonizomai series! This book will jump back to theRead More →

Only two weeks and two more papers between me and freedom! (“freedom” I have homework I have to do over break, but I’m choosing to ignore that at the moment.) Thanksgiving is so close I can…almost…touch it… And then I can be home with my family and my kitty cats! Oh man I’m excited. But my upcoming break from school isn’t the only light at the end of the tunnel…I’m also getting excitingly (that’s a word, right?) close to finishing the rough draft of Henry’s book! For those who follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably saw that I broke 80,000 words on Friday!Read More →

Hey everybody! Sorry for the radio silence recently…school and papers kicked my rear end, and then Spring Break was a blessed relief that also included tons of amazing days out doing stuff with my family (and my awesome roommate, who came with me). There’s not a lot of Wi-Fi up in the mountains, so I’m gonna use that as my excuse. 😉 There’s one other project that kept me busy, but this one I think you’ll approve of…I finished writing Midnight’s Wings, the third book in my Secrets of the National Parks Collection!!!! For those of you who’ve followed my writing for a while knowRead More →

Hello Everybody! I’m getting really close to finishing the rough draft for Frosted Fire, and I am super excited to get to the editing phase! This is going to be my longest book so far (it’s already two thousand words longer than Dragon’s Flight and I still have more to write) To get your curiosity aroused, I’m going to give you another excerpt from Frosted Fire. It’s unedited, so please forgive any mistakes you find. Hope you enjoy! “Please don’t,” Glafira whispered. “Don’t what?” When she didn’t answer, Ald tilted his head and inched closer. “I’d be most glad if you proved my suspicions wrong,Read More →

Hello! I have some exciting news! February 26th is National Fairy Tale Day, or Tell a Fairy Tale Day according to some sites. Whatever the proper name is, it is a great excuse to curl up with a new book, especially if that book is a fairy tale retelling. 😉 To celebrate this wonderful holiday, Stone Heart will be FREE on Kindle on the 25th and 26th! To pique your interest, here’s a short excerpt from Stone Heart:   There was a moment of tense silence, but Ember kept her chin up and her eyes lowered. Ember would act as a servant, but there was only soRead More →

Hello everybody! Today I’m revealing a little about my newest project, which has a working title of Fire and Ice. This story takes place in a new world, but it will not be a standalone. Fire and Ice actually takes place in a world I’ve been developing for years, and I am super excited for all of you to finally get a glimpse into this amazing realm. I’ll save most of the world info for when this book is actually finished, but suffice to say it is my most-developed world yet, complete with a map of one of the continents! (That’s it in the picture aboveRead More →
