Hello Everybody! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

I can’t believe it’s already 2019…day before yesterday marked the one year anniversary of this blog, and man did it go by fast. I was planning to do some sort of special post in celebration of Christmas, or New Years, but my life’s been a little crazy lately and it slipped past without me doing anything. I was also planning to write some post of flowing prose celebrating the beauty of winter (to complete my posts on the seasons) but that’s going to have to wait until next year because I am already done with winter. Unlike last year, it isn’t simply because I want to see growing things again…no, this time I have a much better excuse. Turns out getting severe hypothermia and nearly dying make a person ready for warm weather.
Ah, I have your attention now. No, sadly that’s not an exaggeration. I nearly died. As did my Mom and my little brother. That’s part of why you haven’t heard from me in a while. We didn’t die, though (or else this post would give new meaning to ghost writer 😉 ), and I’m happy to report that the only lasting effect is a new dislike for snowy weather. Hopefully that won’t be permanent. For those wanting the rest of the story, I wrote it out, and here’s the link:
As for a writing update, I’m honestly not sure when stuff is going to be finished at this point. The…exciting events of the past couple weeks kind of threw a wrench in my break plans. When I post next I’ll hopefully have a better idea of where I am with Midnight’s Wings.
That’s it for now. Hope the beginning of your year has been awesome, and stay warm! Seriously!
